Barchart / Digital Data Feed (DDF) provides market data solutions for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).  Our ISV market data solutions provide software firms and developers with the ability to easily integrate real-time, delayed, and historical market data into third-party applications where Barchart manages and hosts the market data technology and related resources.  Barchart's market data is feed directly to the client / end-user application maintaining Barchart as the vendor of record.

Technology

Barchart offers a .NET and Java Application Programming Interface (API), complete with code samples, documentation, and specialized technical support providing an efficient development process. Market data is sourced directly from each exchange and then consolidated and compressed into Barchart's proprietary DDF format.  Market data is delivered via high-speed connections over the internet utilizing TCP or UDP transfer protocols directly from Barchart servers to the end-user.

Managed and Hosted Services

Barchart ISV Solutions can power your software applications with real-time, delayed, end-of-day or historical time series data (tick, n-minute, daily and continuation futures data) from major futures and equity exchanges, as well as global forex / currency data and indices. Barchart also hosts user registration, billing, subscriber agreements, exchange reporting and market data related support. User registration is fully automated through a custom built user registration form styled to match your branding.
